WHERE ARE PIONEER 10 and 11 RIGHT NOW?

Image Credits: NASA/JPL Solar System Simulator developed by: David Seal

UPPER IMAGE (Pioneer 10):  Field of View (FOV):  45°;  Magnification:  0.67x
LOWER IMAGE (Pioneer 11):  Field of View (FOV):  60°;  Magnification:  0.5x

NOTE: Pioneer 10 is currently headed roughly toward the constellation Taurus, its path inclined only a few degrees "upward" relative to the Ecliptic.  Pioneer 11 is currently headed roughly toward the constellations Aquila and Scutum, its path inclined about 15 ° "upward" relative to the Ecliptic.

Simulator Image Notes:  1) Fields of View are measured horizontally.  2) View is from "above" the Solar System, oriented so that the spacecraft is centered and the Sun appears in the 12:00 midnight direction.  3) Light-Travel Time is not included in calculated times.
